Royal Rehab site, Putney/Ryde
In June 2010, Frasers Property purchased a portion of the Royal Rehabilitation Centre’s site on the border of Ryde and Putney, with plans to develop a residential community in line with the approved concept plan, comprising freestanding and attached homes and apartments, with abundant public open space. The purchase will allow the creation of a purpose built, state-of-the-art specialist rehabilitation, disability and research facility for the people of New South Wales, and Frasers will partner with Royal Rehab to deliver community facilities including parklands, sport and recreation facilities, a childcare centre and a community meeting room.
The 13.7 hectare site is located 12kms North West of the Sydney CBD on the border of Ryde and Putney, accessible via Victoria Road, Charles Street and Morrison Street.
Frasers will now begin preparing designs and planning applications, with sales expected to commence in early 2011. Work on the public parkland will begin within 3 months.

Frasers Property Australia (Frasers) has purchased 4.9 hectares alongside the Parramatta River, one kilometre from the CBD and the recently completed railway station. Frasers is working closely with Council to consider the most appropriate form of redevelopment for this prime site along the river and the surrounding precinct.
