Missed the chance to walk the bottom of the Shellharbour Marina?

Before we turn off the pumps, Shellharbour City Council and Frasers Property invite you to walk the bottom of the harbour for the very last time next month. This is a unique and once in a lifetime opportunity to walk the perimeter of the Shellharbour Marina floor before it is filled with water in 2020 and officially opens in 2021.

When: Saturday 14th December, 9am-12pm

Where: The Waterfront Town Centre

Fun for the whole family!
There will be live entertainment, Rotary BBQ, and on the day you can write a message for a time capsule that will be placed on the harbour floor!

This is a green event!
Please help limit waste on the day. Bring your own water bottle to fill at the water refill station.  Walk, take public transport or ride your bike.

Important Information

The walk requires a moderate level of fitness and the ability to ascend and descend stepped scaffolding stairs. Pets cannot enter the marina. To walk on the day you must wear enclosed shoes. BYO water bottle as water stations will be provided.

A shuttle bus for those with restricted mobility, including those in wheelchairs, will be running from the Woolworths bus stop to the event. The bottom of the harbour is currently accessible by stairs only, so unfortunately we are unable to offer safe access for prams. For those with children who are not yet walking, we recommend using a baby carrier.

This is a weather dependent event.
