Port Coogee Christmas Festival, December 2021

03 December 2021

In perfect, balmy conditions we saw the Port Coogee Christmas Festival continue its trajectory towards a significant, community led event.

The event was held on Chieftain Esplanade underneath the Norfolk Pines (wrapped in festoon lighting) overlooking the beautiful Port Coogee marina.

Santa and his helpers arrived in style by boat to the absolute delight of families, accompanied by the Regis team, Chair of the PCCA, Debra Shorter and Captained by Sam from Marina Services!

There was so much to do and enjoy on the night with food trucks, two choirs and musicians, a giant stocking raffle (filled to the brim from local businesses), face painters, animal farm, kids craft, and loads of market stalls that had the marina precinct buzzing with activity.

One of the highlights of the event was the rendition of ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ where the Red Dress Choir joined forces with Marina Edge Apartment residents to turn the building into a Giant Advent calendar. So much fun!

Our Fishing Kayak Giveaway was drawn - congratulations to the winner Gitte M. Make sure you say hi if you see Gitte cruising past you at Coogee beach. Thanks to all the people who entered and make sure to keep an eye out for our next giveaway.
