Key collaborators take Hamilton Reach to next level.
Brisbane – 27 November 2017 – Frasers Property Australia has again linked with a leading architect and award-winning Brisbane builder to realise its vision for River Homes - the spectacular flagship offering of the $700 million Hamilton Reach community.
Rothelowman has been entrusted with the design of the $27 million luxury enclave comprising eight freehold bespoke waterfront homes, while Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders will make the River Homes a stunning reality.
No stranger to Hamilton Reach, Rothelowman has partnered with Frasers Property on the development’s extremely popular Green Quarter terrace homes, Newport apartments and The Keelson River Villas.
Cameron Leggatt, General Manager Residential Queensland for Frasers Property said the longevity and continuity of the partnership with Rothelowman had shaped the unrivalled substance and style of the forthcoming River Homes.
“In these previous stages we have identified a standard that has evolved by truly understanding what our clients do and don’t want to see at the premium end of the market,” Mr Leggatt said.
“Together we have developed an acute sense of what is important to our buyers and what is not, making Rothelowman the ideal design partner for our magnificent River Homes as the pinnacle of luxury at Hamilton Reach.”
Rothelowman principal (Brisbane) Jeff Brown said the River Homes were the jewel in the Hamilton Reach crown and represented the culmination of a design relationship stretching
back almost a decade.
“The ongoing relationship means the process of design is a little more thorough and based on a very strong understanding of expectations,” Mr Brown said.
“All of the projects within Hamilton Reach have been quite different, and it’s been a broad exercise in a collaboration that’s kept the design fresh, innovative and exciting.
“Having said that, a lot of the ideas embedded in the River Homes have come from the Keelson River Villas and Newport projects.”
Mr Brown said the River Homes’ simple and elegant design paid homage to the power of the Brisbane River by maximising residents’ water views.
“Newport’s wave-like design was a literal expression of its river frontage, but the design of the River Homes is more about framing the river and those houses being a visual opening to the water,” he said.
Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders takes on River Homes’ construction after delivering the five-level Newport project, for which the company won a category of the Master Builders Queensland 2017 Brisbane Housing and Construction Awards.
Tomkins is scheduled to begin work on the two and three-level River Homes in early 2018.
Tomkins Director Mike Tomkins said the company is well placed to deliver a project of this scale.
“We are very excited to be appointed as the builder of River Homes, to continue the construction of the luxury residential developments at Hamilton Reach and strengthen our relationship with Frasers Property,” said Mr Tomkins.
“River Homes is an incredibly unique development to not only Hamilton Reach but to Brisbane as a whole.
“Frasers Property Australia is a quality developer to work with, so we are very happy to be a part of this project and hopefully many more in the future.”
