Frasers Property joins in Clean Up Australia Day
- Frasers Property celebrates 10 years of involvement in Business Clean Up Australia Day
- 30 volunteers to give Minnippi Parklands in Carina a makeover
- Journalists and photographers are invited to attend on the day
BRISBANE, 22 FEBRUARY 2018 – Around 30 Frasers Property Australia volunteers will roll up their sleeves at Minnippi Parklands in Carina for Business Clean Up Australia Day on Tuesday February 27.
From 9am to 2pm in the afternoon – or as long as it takes until the area is clean - Frasers Property volunteers will be getting their hands dirty to give some much-needed tender loving care to one of Brisbane’s best loved nature reserves.
Olivia Leal-Walker, Sustainability Coordinator, Frasers Property Australia says Clean Up Australia Day is about taking the time to appreciate – and care – for what we have.
“We recognise that the places we create are more than bricks and mortar, or concrete and steel. Across all our operations, Frasers Property focuses on creating places that embrace and respond to their natural environments,” Ms Leal-Walker says.
Journalists and photographers are welcome to attend Business Clean Up Australia Day at Minnippi Parklands on Tuesday February 27.
Minnippi Parklands is adjacent to a 5.4 hectare site Frasers Property recently acquired for a new masterplanned community in Carina.
The site, at 179-193 Fursden Road, provides a strategic opportunity for Frasers Property to bring a range of new homes to the market in an inner-city area, with a combination of land, terrace homes, townhouses, community amenities and parklands planned.
