The Rise nears sell out

Boutique Park Ridge community wraps up 378 lots

BRISBANE, 9 FEBRUARY 2018 – The Rise at Park Ridge is now close to selling out with fewer than 10 land lots remaining for sale within its final release, The Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary is the eighth and final stage of The Rise, thanks to strong ongoing demand for residential land in the Logan growth corridor.

The Rise contains 378 lots, which has nearly sold out in less than three years after launching to the market in April 2015, and has proven to be a catalyst development for the area.

Cameron Leggatt, General Manager Residential Queensland for Frasers Property Australia, said the boutique community has proven popular with first home buyers, who accounted for more than half of sales in the last four stages.

Mr Leggatt noted the surge in first home buyers came after the Queensland Government increased the first home buyers grant to $20,000 in the 2016/17 financial year.
The first home buyers grant has been extended until June 30, 2018.

“The Rise is ideal for first-time purchasers who are looking to gain a foothold in the property ladder before the grant lapses,” Mr Leggatt said.

“These final lots present the last opportunity to purchase land and build a brand-new home within The Rise, which features a fantastic one hectare park as the centrepiece of the community.

“As the name suggests, The Sanctuary offers residents tranquillity and privacy within an enclave that is separated from the rest of the community by a green corridor.”

Division 9 Councillor Phil Pidgeon said The Rise had played a defining role in establishing Park Ridge as a popular development area.

“Frasers Property has helped transform Park Ridge into a popular address for many buyers, as it’s an area that is now booming with new communities,” Cr Pidgeon said.

“The significant development will cater for population growth, and will ensure Park Ridge continues to develop as an integrated, sustainable urban community that will ultimately support more local businesses and create more local jobs.”

The community is a short distance from the new Park Ridge Town Centre, featuring Coles, Woolworths and specialty shops, as well as a host of local schools and sporting facilities.

Residents have easy access to Outlook Park which offers 10,000sqm of elevated parkland including a state-of-the-art playground, picnic shelters, walkways, cycle paths, half basketball court and extensive open space.

The Rise Sales Centre is open Saturday to Wednesday, from 10am to 4pm, at 119 East Beaumont Rd, Park Ridge, just off Chambers Flat Rd.
