Three Mile Race

Join your community for an exciting afternoon and watch this year's annual Three Mile Race, held in tribute to one of Australia’s oldest competitions, the King’s Cup.

Bring your camp chairs and picnic rugs and enjoy front row seats as the Men's and Women's teams compete for the Three Mile Race trophy, plus the Golden Oar for the Lord Mayor's Challenge.

It's the perfect place to enjoy the race, with live music and food trucks serving delicious eats and treats.

Time: 11:00am to 2:00pm

Location: Northshore Riverside Park

Race Schedule

11:00am – Cox briefing and on-water course tour.

11:45am – Safety briefing at Northshore Riverside Park.

12:15pm – Crews launch from Northshore Riverside Park.

1:00pm – Women’s race begins (4 coxed eights).

1:20pm – Men’s race begins (4 coxed eights).

1:45pm - 2:15pm -Trophy presentation.
