Planning is underway for the new Edmondson Park Town Centre, on the 24-hectare site next to Edmondson Park train station. When complete, Edmondson Park Town Centre will be a prime example of a regionally significant 21st century town centre serving Western Sydney, and an architectural landmark in its own right.
With excitement gathering and interest growing for the upcoming Edmondson Park Town Centre, we are pleased to announce that construction has commenced on the future sales centre and display village. This is a major milestone for the proposed mixed-use community in South West Sydney’s growth corridor.
Located off Campbelltown Road, the sales centre will be a central point for information and progress updates for the community over the seven-year development phase. Local construction company Strongbuild was appointed in May to build the new sales centre and early site works are on track, with construction anticipated to be completed later in the year.
While the engagement process with the community continues and we work together to finalise the masterplan, our aim is to deliver on the community needs. The feedback we received from the community at our recent Open Day event was that people didn’t want to travel as far for a good coffee and this was lacking in the area, so we are pleased to advise that there will be a new café within the sales centre, to give visitors a taste of the amenity coming soon to the new Town Centre.
A new chapter begins for Edmondson Park.
In September 2015, Frasers Property Australia was announced as the successful tenderer to develop the Edmondson Park Town Centre site by UrbanGrowth NSW, the NSW Government’s urban transformation agency.
UrbanGrowth NSW is currently progressing numerous projects in Western Sydney, in support of the Government's strategic priorities for the State. Edmondson Park Town Centre is an important piece of this bigger picture.
Frasers Property Australia, formerly known as Australand, has been creating mixed-use master planned communities in Australia for more than 90 years.
