On Friday 8th December 2017 we held our Christmas themed Lantern Markets at the spacious Daintree Street Park. Set amongst the beautiful public art structures, our Lantern Markets have become well known within Baldivis as it provides an opportunity for our residents and the surrounding community to come together for a laid-back evening of free entertainment and activities as well as options to purchase food and browse local markets stalls.

After a very hot day approximately 800 locals came to enjoy the carols and delicious food offerings on the night. The Red Dress Choir entertained the families enormously whilst raising money for Alzheimer’s WA and MND WA. Their mascot ‘Monty’ the labradoodle had many requests for selfies too! Tandem continued the stage program with a cruisy set that filled the twilight hour with relaxing vibes.

Santa and the elves were extremely popular of course, along with the handmade market stalls and Christmas goodies available for purchase.
