Development Update May 2017

Clay Thomas, Development Manager at Port Coogee highlights all the recent activity.

Last year was a highly successful one for Port Coogee, with our award-winning development growing and the local community continuing to thrive. This was epitomised by the landmark opening of the Port Coogee Village Shopping Centre, and the completion of 11 contemporary town houses at PC on the Park. 2017 has seen this momentum build, and it has already been a year of accelerated activity in Port Coogee.

In February 2017, we completed the delivery of a 9,225m2 extension to Omeo Reserve. This has become the jewel in the crown of the ocean-front reserve, boasting an architecturally designed pavilion overlooking the Omeo wreck, public art salvaged from the wreck itself, interpretative and educational signage, along with manicured landscaped gardens, turf and shared-use pathways.

Construction within the Marina Village Precinct has taken off with several major construction projects getting underway, including Form by Match, Marina Bay by Galaxy Corp and Barque by Stirling Capital. And with more than 250 new apartments under construction and commencement of the six storey, 153 bedroom Regis Port Coogee residential aged care facility, we've seen the arrival of three new tower cranes to facilitate construction. It's also great to see Marina Edge by TRG nearing completion. The pieces of the Port Coogee puzzle continue to slot into place and are all positive signs that WA property market is stabilising.

We've also been busy working on designing and obtaining approvals for the next stages of land subdivision and boutique town houses. We anticipate we'll be able to bring to the market later in the year. To make sure you're one of the first to find out about our future releases, register your details here.

We're looking forward to continuing the successful growth and development of this outstanding community in the second half of 2017. As always, we encourage you to get in touch with us if you have any questions or feedback about your community.
