Port Coogee really came alive with the brightest, sparkliest start to Christmas!
Festival of Lights Celebration
Friday 1 December saw the start of our inaugural Festival of Lights at Port Coogee. As the sun set over the Indian Ocean, residents and neighbouring communities, friends and families gathered in Omeo Park to celebrate the start of the Festive Season where they were entertained by the acoustic sounds of the very talented Everlong Perth.
There was also a great selection of quality food stalls and food trucks on hand serving delicious meals and beverages into the night. Families explored the market stalls and joined in the fun of an inflatable obstacle course, zorb ball track and other fantastic kids activities – ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to our fantastic vendors: Tikka Tango, Curb Your Hunger food truck, Soul and Spice, Satay Kings, Bombay Knights Street Food, Coconutz, Nom Nom Cupcakes, The Lolly Bus, Caffeine Machine, Saucy Sue and Cafe Oranje!
Lighting up the pines on Pantheon Avenue
As part of the month long celebration, the Norfolk Pines along Pantheon Avenue were dressed in festive lights. The pines looked dazzling at night and created a magical scene as they lit up the already stunning entranceway into Port Coogee.
