December 2020 Construction update

 

The Waterfront is really starting to take shape in preparation for the public opening of the harbour, the harbourside dining precinct and The Waterfront Tavern in the second half of 2021.

The foreshore area in front of the harbourside dining precinct is really coming to life with timber decking being placed and early works for The Waterfront Tavern now complete.

A leasing campaign for the retail spaces within the harbourside dining precinct is underway and the weir removal this month will allow the harbour to be permanently flooded.

Clear roads ahead for Shell Cove as construction begins. New Harbour Boulevard connection will keep people moving.

Harbour Boulevard is the final major collector road, moving traffic between local streets to arterial roads, to be constructed within The Waterfront. The other major collector roads are Cove Boulevard and Southern Cross Boulevard. Harbour Boulevard will provide a major entry into Shell Cove and the marina precinct.
