What’s on at The Waterfront, Shell Cove
Our dedicated Community Development team at The Waterfront, Shell Cove help in creating an enriching and engaging place to live by facilitating events and communities each month. These regular events offer residents a space to connect with one another and the opportunity to meet new people in the community.
CLAY CAFÉ with Deniz
Dates: 15 & 16 July
Time: 9:30am – 11:00am
Location: The Waterfront Sales Centre, Shops 1 & 2, 100 Cove Blvd, Shell Cove
Cost: $10 per participant (includes both sessions)
Limited to 10 kids per session – book fast!
Get ready for the tastiest-looking creations you’ve ever made... that you can’t eat!
Join us this July for a two-day hands-on workshop where kids (ages 9–13) will sculpt and paint their own mouth-watering clay food creations using air-dry clay! Think fancy cake slices and cupcakes!
Day 1: Sculpt your food masterpiece
Day 2: Paint it to perfection and take it home to keep!
Women's Health Workshop
When: Tuesday, 1 July | 7 pm – 9 pm
Where: The Waterfront Sales Centre, Shops 1 & 2, 100 Cove Boulevard, Shell Cove
Cost: $10 (plus booking fee)
Age: Women 18yrs+ in all stages of life.
Women's Mental Health Workshop: Reducing Anxiety & Setting Boundaries
Join registered psychologist Emma Lightfoot (Inside Out Psychology & Wellness), alongside Pause Nutrition and The Waterfront, Shell Cove, for an empowering and interactive workshop dedicated to women's mental well-being. Gain valuable strategies to reduce anxiety and set boundaries in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
This session includes light refreshments, workshop handouts, and a 15-minute Q&A with Emma and Kara. Book now to secure your spot.

Celebrate the longest night - and shortest day - of the year with three magical days of winter magic in June! Eats and Beats returns on Friday, 20 June, for a night of food trucks and free family entertainment. Then, get ready for tail wags and winter coats at everyone’s favourite pet event on Sunday, 22 June—Woofstock, our paws-itively adorable dog day out.

Cost: FREE
We're delighted to welcome Family Services Australia (FSA) and the Park & Play team back to Shell Cove on Fridays from 9.30am – 11.30am (grassy area next to Waterfront Tavern).
These FREE, fun play sessions for 0-5yrs are creative, healthy and outdoors, helping children learn about the world and each other, build friendships and learn new skills. FSA also connects families with services and supports in their local community.

ART Social - Semester 1
When: Semester 1 Dates: May 23 | Jun 27 | 6:30–8:30 PM

Cost: Casual attendance $25, or multiple sessions for $120
Age: 18+
Explore your creative side, connect with neighbours, and enjoy guided art sessions in a relaxed, friendly setting! Bring your own project or try something new with instructor-led prompts.

Barefoot @ The Waterfront
When: Tuesdays, 9.30pm
Where: Killalea State Park (next to carpark/café).
Cost: $10 per week - Prepay/or on the day
Age: 18yrs +
Join us up at 'The Farm' for a beautiful yoga experience where you get to immerse yourself in nature and breathe in the fresh ocean air as you flow through our practice. Please note, our Thursday class is currently not running.

The Georgia Rose Markets
Join us on the last Sunday of the month from 10am to 3pm on the Marina Foreshore (Boardwalk and Southern side of The Waterfront Tavern). Come and enjoy the stunning backdrop of The Waterfront, Shell Cove. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends, enjoy a stroll, and browse the stalls.

Looking to meet new people and build connections with others in your age group (55+)? Join us for our monthly Solo Seniors Meet-ups at the beautiful Waterfront Tavern. It’s an informal and friendly gathering designed to help you make new friends and enjoy great company.

Shell Cove Community Garden
Love to garden? Everyone is welcome to come along and contribute to the Shell Cove Garden. The gardening group meet every Every Wednesday from 9am-11am and Saturday from 3pm-5pm. Come along and tend to the garden to enjoy its produce.

Looking for a fun, free social activity on a Wednesday morning? Come and join The Waterfront Walkers every Wednesday at 8:30am for a short stroll around the Marina. This is a free, weekly, resident-led walking group. All welcome! Meet at the top of the stairs opposite the kids beach.
