Business Workshop Brings Local Entrepreneurs Together
Earlier this year, a group of dedicated business owners involved in the Brookhaven Collective hosted a successful business workshop that brought together a diverse group of business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. From well-established businesses to those just starting out or still developing an idea, attendees represented the full spectrum of our vibrant local business community.
The workshop was led by a retired business advisor and resident of Brookhaven, Bob Brummel who guided the group through a reflective session focused on identifying common frustrations and the barriers holding their businesses back. This honest and engaging discussion encouraged participants to think beyond day-to-day challenges and explore how a local business network could better support them.
One of the most impactful outcomes was a deeper conversation about how businesses in our community can support each other in more meaningful ways—going beyond simply using or referring each other’s services. Attendees expressed a clear interest in building a more collaborative, connected local business ecosystem. Thanks to the positive feedback and enthusiasm from this session, we’re excited to announce a new series of monthly workshops starting this June. These sessions will provide ongoing opportunities for learning, support, and collaboration.
