Community Resilience
Like the rest of Queensland, the City of Gold Coast is not immune to the threat of natural disasters such as floods, bushfires, heatwaves and severe weather. We know that as a community we may not be able to prevent disasters or serious events from occurring, however we can prepare our community and enhance our resilience to the adverse impact of any threat through effective pre-planning.
