Brand new land lots launching at The Waterfront, Shell Cove

Build your dream home in prime location on northern side of The Waterfront.

Frasers Property Australia is set to release 18 premium land lots just moments from Shellharbour South Beach and the marina’s edge at The Waterfront, Shell Cove, a joint development with Shellharbour City Council. The lots will be available for sale from Saturday 4 July 2020.

Opening for sale this weekend, this first release of land lots in the Harbour Precinct will be sold on a first in best dressed bases so interested buyers are urged to act quickly to avoid missing on securing a land lot in this highly desirable location.

Perfectly positioned on the northern side of The Waterfront, this new release offers the best of both worlds; located only a short walk from Shellharbour Village and the white sandy shore of Shellharbour South Beach while also being within easy reach of the vibrant Waterfront Town Centre and harbourside dining precinct set to open in 2021.

The lots range in size from 318.2 sqm to 512.3 sqm and are priced from $625,000 to $840,000. With generous street frontages ranging between 11m and 17m, there’s plenty of scope for buyers to design their dream home tailor made to suit their taste and lifestyle. Previous land releases have sold out quickly and this is the first release in the Harbour Precinct, so demand is again expected to be strong.

This land release offers the ultimate in harbourside living by the beach, being just a short stroll to the un-spoilt Shellharbour South Beach and only 150m from the marina’s edge. Buyers can simply meander along the harbourside boardwalk to the activated Waterfrtont Town Centre where alfresco dining on the marina can become part of every day life.

This release is also within easy reach of public open spaces. The north facing lots front a park offering open space, kick around areas, landscaped plants and you’re also within walking distance to a substantial harbourfront park boasting an adventure playground.

“The Waterfront, Shell Cove celebrates the beauty of the natural coastal setting,” says Simone Dyer, Development Director Shell Cove, Frasers Property Australia.

“These 18 new lots offer people the opportunity to build their dream home less than 150m from the marina’s edge and just a short stroll from Shellharbour Beach, perfect for people wanting a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to swimming, surfing, snorkeling and diving.”

“There is limited opportunity to live by the water and this new release offers residents the opportunity of a sea change less than 1km from The Waterfront Town Centre and under 1.5km from the Shellharbour Village,” Ms Dyer says.

Trevor and Kay Gollan had been living in Mount Keira for 25 years, but when they retired five years ago, they decided it was time to make a sea change.

“I really wanted to live near the sea. I like the idea of being able to swim in saltwater near our home,” Kay says.

They looked at many options, but it was Kay’s vivid childhood memory that drew the couple to The Waterfront, Shell Cove.

“My father was an oyster farmer. When I was a child, we used to deliver oysters to the Shellharbour Hotel. I had always thought it was a beautiful part of the world,” Kay says.
The couple moved into their four-bedroom townhome in December 2018. Sitting on Harbour Boulevard across from the future sporting field and park, the semi-detached home comes with a double garage and extra open space at the back.

“We wanted to live by the coast in a beautiful location with proximity to essential services and facilities, such as a doctor, dentist and hospital, but at the same time close enough to family, including our kids. We have two children living in Wollongong and two living in Canberra, so Shell Cove is the perfect location,” Kay says.

Apart from the harbourside lifestyle, the couple loves being able to easily walk to restaurants and shops. They also enjoy meeting like-minded people at the community garden, where Trevor is the president of the garden group.

“We are very pleased with our choice. We absolutely love living here and it has definitely exceeded our expectations. With the marina and boat harbour coming soon, Shell Cove is proving the perfect sea change,” says Kay.

The Waterfront, Shell Cove is a masterplanned community in a natural coastal setting surrounded by beaches, parks and wetlands but close to schools, transport and major centres.

A focal point of the new community will be the 270-berth boat harbour and Shellharbour Marina next to the lively town centre featuring a retail precinct anchored by a Woolworths supermarket, with specialty shops and restaurants on the marina’s edge. A hotel will be adjacent to The Waterfront Tavern, children’s beach, water play areas, library and community centre.

The Waterfront Sales Centre is open with online sales services, virtual meetings and private appointments also available. To book an appointment or for more information, call 13 38 38 or visit
