Anchor Homes – September 2023

Welcome to the latest Construction Update.

We’re excited to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

We are thrilled to provide you with an update on the remarkable progress achieved in our ongoing construction project. Significant strides have been made, and we are excited to share the key developments achieved so far.

We are delighted to report that all slabs on the ground have been successfully completed, providing a solid foundation for the project's structures. Additionally, all ground floor framing and joists have been expertly installed, ensuring the structural integrity of the building.

All ground floor framing & joists installed

Our teams have accomplished essential milestones for the ground floor, including the installation of all structural steel elements and termite barriers. Furthermore, intertenancy fire walls have been installed to the first floor, enhancing safety measures within the project.

The project has reached an exciting phase as the first course of brickwork has commenced, adding a distinctive aesthetic dimension to the building. Simultaneously, window installations have begun, allowing for both functionality and natural light to enter the spaces.

Window Installation Commenced – Garage

The preparation for cladding installation is well underway with the commencement of the vapour barrier installation.

In the upcoming weeks, we have planned several significant milestones:

  • The installation of windows and entry doors will continue in tandem with the brickwork installation, further enhancing the project's aesthetics and functionality.
  • We will commence the installation of flooring for the first-floor frames, ensuring that the project remains on schedule.
  • Scaffold erection will commence, facilitating safe access for our teams and subcontractors as we continue to reach new heights in the construction process.
Site Safety

We understand and share your growing interest and excitement as your new home begins to take shape. We are also highly committed to the safety of our purchasers and members of our construction team. Hence, we would like to remind you that at no time are any of our purchasers permitted to enter the construction site or fenced compounds, as doing so places you at risk of accident or injury.
