Mambourin's District Park

Mambourin’s District park when complete will include two large adventure play towers targeting children of all ages with a double flying fox, multiple slides, bird hide lookout as well as net tunnels.

When it gets warmer imagine your children will be able to take advantage of the interactive water play and hand pump area. You will be able to watch them run through the adventure maze or see them try their hand at making music with the musical play elements.

What's coming in this new kind of park?

For the sport lovers a full-size basketball or netball court will be available to use. As well as a kick about zone with soccer and AFL goals. Or consider practicing some tennis on the rebound wall or on the reverse side why not try out some rock climbing? You will be able to make the most of the skate and roller blade area or even get into shape with 3 fitness nodes providing a full body workout option.

This kickabout space also doubles as a natural event amphitheatre set lower to shelter area for future pop up cinemas and events. This will be a space for the entire family and larger community to come together. A large shelter with BBQ area and toilet and drinking fountains will make it possible to spend the entire day next to the wetlands.

The District Park is currently under construction and is planned to open end at the end of the year. Keep an eye out to see the park progress along the way in our construction updates!
