It was a VERY Good Friday at Baldivis Parks 🐣🍫🐰 We celebrated community on a perfect WA evening in Baldivis Parks with the Good Friday Easter Lantern Markets 2024! Although the event didn't start until 5 pm the crowds were there in force by 4pm and ready to go! So great to see so many families walk and ride to the event too 💚 With a big lineup of local markets, resident stalls, food trucks and local performers, the community had such a fun time. We enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny, kids' free activities and the traditional Easter Scavenger Hunt had already gone through 250 entries by 5.15 pm! We hope everyone had a Happy Easter! Meet the community

We’re all pally with each other. It’s good for the kids to get out and get that kind of social aspect in their lives rather than being glued to their Xbox.

I go to Baldivis Secondary College and my mum drives me to school because I’m not very fast at getting ready in the mornings. I really love it, I have lots of friends there and the teachers are really nice!

Having everything you want and need within cooee, you know, it’s only 5 min down to the mall or the Spudshed or the water-ski park or even the beach.

We love the parks, we love the community – it’s so close-knit... and waking up with the cockatoos in the mornings, it’s just the best.

The community, the groups getting together, having these nights (Lantern Markets) – it’s just great, you always see something going on.
