Christmas in the Village, December 2021
Thanks to all who came down to Daintree Street Park on Fri 10th Dec to celebrate the end of a busy year!
This year’s festive family event ‘Christmas in the Village’ was brimming with more music, local businesses, school choirs and Christmas cheer than you could poke a reindeer antler at!
Hosted by one of our favourite Baldivis Parks’ residents, Jackie Gahan, this event had all the 'glue' that connects a great community together. There were performances by the talented school choirs from Tranby College, Rivergums Primary School, Mother Teresa Catholic College and WAAPA graduates ‘Tandem Duo’ which ensured a wonderful evening of entertainment and festive cheer.
A few residents even hosted their first market stalls amongst the regularly attending handmade and unique market stalls, and a great selection of food trucks were on hand to take care of dinner and dessert.
Kids craft, face painting and a visit from the big 'Man in Red' completed a joyous event for the residents of Baldivis Parks and their broader community.
