Curious about coffee near Frasers Landing?

Frasers Landing Mandurah Cafes

If you love coffee like we do, sitting in a friendly, welcoming café enjoying breakfast, cake or a sneaky lunch - read on!

At Frasers Landing we're pretty lucky to live so close to the bustling town centre of Mandurah, where there are any number of fantastic places to enjoy your daily caffeine hit. But sometimes it’s nice to go exploring and discover the local gems in and around our neighbourhood.

So that’s just what we did. Here’s a few ‘hidden gems’ you may not know about.

Nourishing the Soul, Dudley Park

First up, a great find right on the waterfront at Dudley Park, adjacent to the Creery Wetlands Reserve. ‘Nourishing the Soul’ really does what it says.

There is nothing nicer than sipping on a hot coffee while you absorb the tranquillity of the surrounds, watching boats bob on the water, and the dolphins and pelicans in search of their own nourishment.

Nourishing the Soul offers all-day breakfast, delicious lunches and morning and afternoon teas. Now we love our coffee, so it’s good to see the full range is served here, from an excellent espresso to a babycino - they even do a beetroot or turmeric latte, if that’s your thing! They’ll make your coffee your way, with a range of milks to suit every palate and diet.

So, it’s a big coffee tick from us for Nourishing the Soul!

Decadent C’s, Barragup

Next on the list is Decadent C's (if you’re wondering, the C’s are coffee, chocolate and cake – the ultimate trifecta, in our book!)

Located just off Pinjarra Road near Amaze Miniature Park, Decadent C’s is a family business run by Chocolatier and Patisserie Cook Jenny Todd with her husband Neil. Daughter Natarlie creates the amazing custom cakes they are famous for. The full menu is very impressive, but it’s the coffee we are interested in - and of course cake goes along with that! We counted around 40 different kinds of awesome cake, so if you’re not great at making decisions, take some friends and try them all!

They serve up the full range of coffee – espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, babycinos – along with a wide range of cool drinks, so there’s something for everyone. Decadent C's is great for a family or group gathering, as it has a large lawn area with a playground so the kids can run amok while you enjoy your coffee and cake in peace!

Pelicans Café on the Murray, South Yunderup

For a relaxing, down-to-earth family outing, you can’t go past Pelicans on the Murray Café. It’s a very informal café/kiosk right on the Murray River, so you can pull up your boat alongside and grab your coffee and a bite to eat. It’s a bit of an institution, people love the full breakfast cook-ups, and they have a great value coffee and cake special. Grab a bench seat outside, sit in the sun, sip your coffee and watch the river life pass you by. Heaven!
