This month the spotlight is on the Project Sales Manager at Frasers Landing, Matt Coole. We had a chat about his favourite topic – Frasers Landing.
How long have you been working with Frasers Property?
I’ve been with Frasers Property for a couple of years now. I worked in the Perth real estate industry for over 20 years before I moved into project sales. I’ve even managed a few small developments of my own in that time, so I’m a bit of an all-rounder.
What do you love most about your job?
The people! Doing this job you get to meet so many people from all walks of life, whether they’re coming to buy or just having a look around. A few of them who’ve since moved in still pop in to the Sales Centre for a chat and a coffee, which is lovely. It’s a beautiful place to work, and quite social.
What’s one of the things that makes Frasers Landing so special?
I’d say the community spirit. It’s alive and well at Frasers Landing – for instance, a group of residents in the Hamlets get together each month for a social catchup in the park. One of the reasons for such a vibrant community is the range of product on offer – the mix appeals to first homebuyers, young to middle-aged families and also downsizers looking for a tree change. Another is the location – I was blown away by the natural serenity of the place when I first came here. You wouldn’t believe it was so close to the City of Mandurah. Frasers Property are big on maintaining the natural environment, so the bushland and riverside are beautiful. It really is a hidden gem!
Favourite coffee spot?
We love Nourishing the Soul, a very popular café in a beautiful location on the canals. And there’s also plenty of choice at Mandurah Forum, which is only five minutes away.
Hot lot top picks?
We have a few hot picks available at Frasers Landing at the moment. There’s a handful left in the Hamlets – very nicely located and great value from $104,000. For people looking for a larger block, we have a strip of versatile, rectangular 450sqm lots in the newly released area that are a great combination of size and value.
What trends have you noticed in the property market?
We are at the tailend of a building boom fuelled by government grants, which has overflowed into the established home market. Over the last six months or so, the Mandurah area has broken out of a ten-year plateau and the median house price has started to soar.
Any advice for first homebuyers?
Get in now! Prices are starting to rise, so if you’re thinking about purchasing a first home, do it now before you lose the ability to break into the market. There is plenty of helpful advice and information for first homebuyers on the Frasers Property website. There’s also a First Home How To podcast that you can listen tohere. Even if you’re only just starting to think about it, and you’re not necessarily ready to buy, come and have a chat anyway. Research is everything!
Why should someone invest in a Frasers Property?
Frasers Property is very strong on community, and they care about things other developers don’t. Purchasers automatically become members of our Prosperity loyalty program which offers a heap of benefits and discounts, and the Prosperity referrals program offers rewards for successful referrals to family and friends. Being part of the Frasers Property ‘family’ is a reward in itself!
