Check out some of the March and April masterpieces from our free monthly pottery workshops at Mandurah Community Gardens
The monthly Pottery in the Garden was a relaxing way for clay enthusiasts to start the weekend!
The workshop series hosted by Elli, from the ‘Pinch Pot Project’, teaches ways to create a range of artistic pieces by simply pinching clay into form.
The first workshop in March made an array of birds and April’s workshop has created character faces. Elli, then takes the clay pieces to fire in a kiln, she also adds colour to transform them.
Many of the birds created in our March group have been released into the garden, finding little homes amongst the plants. The faces will also be added to the garden, hiding amongst the trees!
Mandurah Community Gardens together with Frasers Landing will be providing ten free workshops, held on the second Saturday of each month, registrations are essential – to book your spot email firstname.lastname@example.org
These workshops are suitable for everyone 8 years and older. Under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
