A Safe & Fun Mandurah Australia Day

While some people believe Australia Day is all about drinking, it’s so much more than that.

Many of us will no doubt enjoy a few drinks, but be mindful that many public places and family events, like the Australia Day Citizenship Celebrations, are smoke and alcohol-free.

Here are some tips for a safe and fun Australia Day in Mandurah:

  • Slip, slop, slap – be sun smart outside.

  • Don’t drink to excess – stay hydrated with water between alcohol.

  • Get sporty – with blow-up pool or beach toys, beach volleyball, footballs and frisbees.

  • Blast Aussie classics from a portable (preferably waterproof) Bluetooth speaker.

  • Stay respectful, stay safe, and most importantly – have fun!

Mandurah is the place to be for your 2020 Australia Day. When you live in Frasers Landing, you’re never far away from the bustling community hub of Mandurah.

Whether it’s in your pool, or by a Mandurah beach or foreshore, stay safe this Australia Day and celebrate with your Mandurah community.
