Celebrating Neighbour Day

Sunday 27^th March was Neighbour Day.  The day is celebrated in March each year with the aim of fostering strong personal connections in the community that last all year round.

This year, residents were invited down to Waterside Park, near our sales office, to enjoy a coffee and a chat with their fellow neighbours.

We also gave residents an opportunity to nominate an awesome neighbour for a gift box to say ‘thank you’ or ‘welcome to the neighbourhood’. We had some wonderful entries:

“Michelle has always been a wonderful neighbour to everyone in the street that she has contact with. Last year she performed CPR on her neighbour until the ambulance came, saving his life. She is a quiet hero with a big heart.”

“Robyn is always friend and helpful. She is the first one who welcome us once we arrived a year and a half ago. She made me and my family familiar with the area. She guided us where to walk around the lake and the features around us. She is always smiling and a caring person. Additionally, she surprises us with fresh vegetables and fruits from her garden”

“She helped me during the lockdown time by providing groceries and looking after my family for basic needs including food and medical supplied.”
