This is a free supported playgroup for parents and carers of children aged up to 8 years of age. The group is facilitated by Integricare, a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing family and children's services since 1882. Come along for information, support, friendship, learn new skills and to socialise.

Discovery Point resident Rita leads this Vinyasa yoga class which involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. Rita's class is a balance of alignment, flexibility and stability. All levels are welcome including beginners with no experience.
Every Tuesday and Sunday 7pm - 8pm
Classes are $15 (BYO yoga mat)

An enjoyable, informal, social painting experience in which to relax, unwind, meet your neighbours and unleash your inner artist. Facilitated by Discovery Point resident Hallie Chin. All tools, snacks and beverages are provided at these 2 hour sessions.
Wednesday 10:30am - 12:30pm; Friday 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Cost is $45 p/s (6 sessions for $250); $35 concession ; $25 once off trial.

Every Sunday 10am - 12pm
Cost is $10 - $15 (depending on the no. of players) for court hire and includes shuttle cocks.

One of Discovery Point's longest running social groups, Book Club is facilitated by resident Carolyn Thrum. The group meets once a month to discuss a chosen book. Carolyn provides a copy of the book to each group member.

Organised by resident Mark Madison, this group meets weekly for a social game of Bridge. Beginners are welcome.

The Discovery Point Communal Garden is a group of Discovery point residents (owners and renters) working together to create a Communal Garden in Discovery Park. Our vision is to bring members of our community together in this vibrant and creative endeavour to grow fruit, vegetables and herbs and learn about environmentally sustainable gardening.

Cost is $50 (families); $35 (single); $20 (concession), children under 16 free.

This is a place for grandparents and their pre-school aged grandchildren to have fun together. Stephanie Lee, Bayside Council's Multicultural Librarian facilitates the group in both English and Mandarin.

This is a group of loving dog owners and their adored pooches who meet informally for a run around and play in Discovery Park. Sometimes they even celebrate their canine companion birthdays with birthday cake.

This is the group to connect with if you are interested in the Colonial history of Discovery Point (or Tempe Estate as it was known in the 1800s). Ross Berry, our resident historian will keep you updated with information relating to Tempe House and open days.

Discovery Point
Discovery Point's local music group is a mix of acoustic instrument players (ukeleles and guitars), keyboard and percussion. They have organised pop up music events that have entertained our community and showcased our local talent. The 'Creakers' play at local nursing homes, festivals and are always looking for musicians to practice, jam and play with them!

The Discovery Point Seniors group is a group of like-minded residents from Discovery Point and neighbouring areas that meet on a regular basis for morning tea to discuss topics including travel, health, finance, popular culture, pet care and current affairs. The group has hosted guided walks along the Cooks River and welcome new member's ideas for future meetings, discussions and activities.
