Shell Cove Construction Update - Nautilus Apartments

Welcome to the latest Construction Update.​

We’re pleased to keep you updated on the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Building A:

On the rooftop (Level 6), solar installation work is progressing smoothly, accompanied by ongoing waterproofing of the final plant areas and mechanical commissioning. Meanwhile, on Level 5, the floor preparation team is diligently carrying out floor topping and grinding activities. Level 4 sees the installation of waterproofing primers and bond breakers, with membrane installation continuing. New tilers are set to kick off on Level 4 next week. On Level 3, screed beds in wet areas are being created, and fit-off works are in progress throughout. Tilers have commenced work in a few apartments on Level 2, while on Level 1, the installation of tiles in wet areas and appliance and PC items continues. On the Ground Floor (GF), carpet installation is underway, and final fit-offs, as well as appliance installations, are progressing. The scaffold setup remains unchanged, awaiting balustrade installation before any scaffold adjustments can be made.

Building A level 4 apartments status​

Building B:

On the Level 4 rooftop, the team is working diligently to install and complete the rooftop plant. Tilers have begun installing pavers in the rooftop garden area, and orders have been placed for the feature wall and roof panels for the gym area, expected to arrive in two weeks. On Level 3, carpet installation is in progress. Carpet installers on Level 2 and Level 1 are also continuing their work, and appliance and PC item installations are ongoing throughout these levels. Builders have commenced cleans, and defect rectification works have started on the Ground Floor (GF). FPA is scheduled to commence QA1 inspections on the 11th.


Roof top garden and Gym status​

Podium & Verge Works: Exciting progress has been made with the completion of pool waterproofing. Tile screeds are underway, with tile installation set to begin next week. Blockwork is also progressing well and is planned to be completed next week.

Settlements:

We look forward to keeping you updated as construction progresses. Despite our site teams' continued efforts to expedite the project for settlement in 2023, there is a possibility that this timeline may not be achievable. At Frasers Property, we are deeply committed to prioritising our customers' needs and expectations. We understand the significant preparations involved in the settlement process, and considering the current circumstances, we have made the cautious decision to adjust our settlement estimate to commence from February 2024.

We understand and share your growing interest and excitement as your new home begins to take shape. We are also highly committed to the safety of our purchasers and members of our construction team. Hence, we would like to remind you that at no time are any of our purchasers permitted to enter the construction site or fenced compounds, as doing so places you at risk of accident or injury.
