Q For Body and Soul Wrap-up

On Sunday November 27 some of Perth’s favourite health and wellness ambassadors came to Queens Riverside as we hosted the first Q for Body and Soul Festival on the junction of Moreau Parade and Bremmer Promenade.

Visitors soaked up the chilled out vibe under market umbrellas while they admired table centre pieces designed by Queens Riverside local and superstar stylist, Olympia Creative and enjoyed delicious offering from Nood Food and Brothee.

The crew at Higher Ground Coffee Car served up what we think is one of the best coffees in Perth while Inner Ego had a selection of their famous cold-press juices on offer and Silent Thunder Green tea wowed the crowds with their cool, crisp cold-brewed green teas

Market stalls presented their holistic wares: everything from luxe skin care and healing crystals to the superfood selection from I am Foods and antioxidant rich water from Kangen Water Perth. There was yoga, massages, stress tests and spinal screens on offer while other guests took part in workshops and demonstrations on everything from aromatherapy, planting succulents and making kimchi.

Our friends from Live Life Get Active were busy offering exercise advice and inviting locals to the free boot camp sessions they run every morning at Ozone Reserve, while the girls from The Jungle Body Fix had the crowd jumping, crumping and twerking up a sweat with their own high energy, dance inspired workout session.

Residents, vendors and guests alike commented on the beautiful surrounds of Queens Riverside and the peaceful uniqueness of this community event ensuring that while this Q for Body & Soul Festival was the first, it certainly won’t be the last.

Thanks to everyone who attended – we look forward to seeing you at next year’s event.
