INVESTORS and owner-occupiers are continuing to drive strong sales at North Ryde’s newest residential tower, Centrale. Of the 196 apartments in stage one of the 14-storey development, 157 have sold, while 60 per cent of the second stage comprising 184 apartments has been sold.
Centrale is being developed by Frasers Property Australia on a prime site at 1-17 Delhi Rd, near the corner of Epping Rd next to North Ryde train station.
When complete Centrale will comprise 380 apartments set across four towers.
The project is part of the North Ryde Station Priority Precinct, which will see the construction of at least 3000 apartments by 2031.
About 6000 dwellings will also be constructed in the nearby Herring Rd precinct.
Frasers Property Australia’s sales and marketing director Dino Carulli said construction of Centrale was well under way and interest remained strong, particularly in the three-bedroom apartment configurations.
Of the 21 three-bedroom apartments in the development, only nine remain for sale.
“The owner-occupier market is very strong at the moment and three-bedroom apartments tend to suit owner-occupiers,” he said.
So far owner-occupiers have accounted for about 31 per cent of buyers in stage one of the project and about 40 per cent of buyers in stage two.
Mr Carulli said owner-occupier interest was coming from first and second homebuyers, families and downsizers who were drawn to the design and location.
The location is impressive when you consider the list of lifestyle destinations within proximity to Centrale, including Chatswood, Lane Cove National Park, Macquarie Centre, Macquarie University, Top Ryde shopping centre, North Ryde Golf Course – and these are just the big names.
The Centrale display apartment is at Building A, 12 Julius Ave, and is open every day from 11am to 5pm.
Prices for a one-bedroom apartment start at $595,000* and at $1,155,000* for a three-bedder. (Pricing is indicative only and may be subject to change)
