Playground Collection, Boardwalk Collection and the Links Collection Resident Welcome BBQ

Capping off a big weekend for Fairwater, with the HUGE Block Party held on Saturday, came a Welcome BBQ for the new residents of Playground Collection, Boardwalk Collection and the Links Collection. Despite the inclement weather, 50 people were in attendance to meet each other, listen to talks from Blacktown Police, the Residents Committee and the Community Development Manager. The Welcome BBQ may have found a new home under the awnings of the Two By Four Coffee Shop, as the snags were cooked by Zaw and the crew from coffee shop, with some assistance from the locals.
