Discovery Park Wins Urban Design Award

BROOKHAVEN'S DISCOVERY PARK WINS AT THE LOGAN URBAN DESIGN AWARDS 2020

We are very pleased to announce that our much-loved Discovery Park has taken out the Landscape Architecture and Urban Infrastructure Award at the Logan Urban Design Awards 2020.

The park won the award due to the design of the gentle slope across the park which allows for the retention of existing trees, the character of the waterway management area corridor and integrating the parkland, play and picnic areas into its surrounds. The result is a parkland that reflects the unique sense of place that Brookhaven represents, promoting environmental values and enhancing eco-systems through retained bio-diversity, habitat and topography.
