Welcome to the latest Community Connect newsletter for the Hamilton Reach community. It's already been a great start to the year, with so many moments bringing neighbours together - from collaborative community planning sessions and Clean Up Australia Day, to a movie night in the park and Neighbour Day celebrations.
At Hamilton Reach, we're all about creating regular opportunities to connect. A strong community doesn't just happen, it's built by the people in it, and we're lucky to have so many residents who are passionate about getting involved and making a difference.

We're also introducing a new seasonal approach to our community calendar, so be sure to keep an eye on Facebook, the lifts, and MyBOS to stay in the loop with what's coming up.

Community Updates

ANZAC Day

The ANZAC Day commemoration, organised by Hamilton Happenings on behalf of the community, took place at Northshore Riverside Park on Saturday. The service included a broadcast of the Canberra Dawn Service and National Ceremony, a live trumpeter, wreath laying at the ANZAC Tree, and a shared minute of silence. It was wonderful to see so many Hamilton Reach residents in attendance.

HRCA Update

Thank you to veryone who joined us for our recent Clean Up Australia Day and Movie in the Park at Hamilton Reach. We're so grateful to our volunteers, supporters, and sponsors for making these events such a success, and we look forward to hosting more opportunities to come together as a community. Neighbour Day

It was wonderful to see so many residents come together to celebrate Neighbour Day at Hamilton Reach. For many, these moments are the first step in building meaningful relationships within the community, and it was clear there was plenty of connection, conversation, and genuine warmth on display.

We look forward to welcoming residents to our next community get together on Sunday, 21 June at Northshore Riverside Park. Details coming soon.

Warm Up for Winter

Warm Up for Winter at Hamilton Reach is a community-led initiative that brings residents together to support people in need by donating handmade and essential winter items for Brisbane City Council Homeless Connect. Hamilton Happenings are looking for residents across the community to volunteer their time to help collect and sort donations.
