ANZAC Day
Join your neighbours this ANZAC Day for a truly special morning of remembrance at our annual Dawn Service in Northshore Riverside Park. This is a deeply valued tradition within the Hamilton Reach community—an opportunity to pause, reflect, and come together in honour of those who have served. We warmly encourage you to be part of this meaningful moment of connection.
The Canberra Dawn Service and National Ceremony will be broadcast in the park, accompanied by a live trumpeter, creating a moving and reflective atmosphere. As part of this resident-led commemoration, you’re invited to lay a wreath beneath the ANZAC Tree, followed by a minute of silence shared across our community.
This much-loved event is thoughtfully organised each year by our dedicated Hamilton Happenings residents, Sheila and Carla, whose care and commitment help make the morning so memorable.
If you prefer to take part from home, you are also warmly invited to observe from your balcony as the service takes place across Hamilton Reach. A light breakfast will be provided in the park following the service.
