Building a Stronger, Greener Community — Together

We’re excited to share some great news about upcoming improvements in our local area. After working closely with Council, funding has now been allocated in this year’s budget for key upgrades to Northshore Riverside Park and footpath enhancements along Macarthur Avenue North. This includes replacing the long-closed wooden board refuge crossings with new, durable concrete crossings—a much-needed upgrade that will improve safety and accessibility for everyone.
We’ll keep you in the loop as more details about the park improvements become available.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s been supporting our Containers for Change initiative—we’ve already raised over $500 through community donations! Every dollar goes straight back into future community events that bring us all together. If you’d like to contribute, simply quote our HRCA member number C11404833 when dropping bags at Dock C.
We’re also welcoming new members into the Association. Whether you’re keen to lend a hand behind the scenes, bring a particular skill, or just want to be more involved without taking on a formal role—we’d love to connect and chat about how you can be part of our team.
And finally, save the date! We’re thrilled to be hosting our Movie in the Park night on Sunday, 3rd August. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic evening, and we’re proud to partner with Frasers Property, Councillor Julia Dixon, and BMD to create a fun, family-friendly event that brings the whole community together.
We can’t wait to see you there!
