Warming Hearts This Winter: A Huge Thank You to Our Hamilton Reach Community

The Hamilton Happenings community group has once again wrapped up a hugely successful Warm Up for Winter donation drive – and it’s all thanks to you, our generous and compassionate community!

Hamilton Reach residents, volunteers and friends in neighbouring communities knitted dozens of scarves and beanies anddonated more than 40 boxes of warm clothing and blankets. These contributions have been delivered to Homeless Connect, and gifted to those in need at the Brisbane City Council Homeless Connect event that was held in June.

A special shoutout goes to the Hamilton Happenings Co-ordinators and program founders Carla and Sheila and to Caretakers, Scott and Giovani whose support with collecting, organizing, and transporting donations was vital to the initiative’s success.

To everyone who donated, helped spread the word, or lent a hand – congratulations and thank you. Your kindness makes a real difference.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to continuing this meaningful tradition next year.
