Warm Up for Winter
Warm Up for Winter at Hamilton Reach is back this year, and we’d love you to be part of it.
Led by the Hamilton Happenings community group, this meaningful initiative brings residents together to support those doing it tough through the colder months. We’re inviting our Hamilton Reach community, along with friends and neighbouring residents, to knit scarves and beanies, and donate warm clothing and blankets to help keep others safe and warm this winter.
All contributions will be delivered to Homeless Connect and shared with people experiencing homelessness at the Brisbane City Council Homeless Connect event in June.
A special thank you goes to Hamilton Happenings coordinators and founders Carla and Sheila, as well as caretakers Scott and Giovani, for their ongoing support in helping bring this initiative to life each year.
