Queens Riverside Harmony Day 2019

Queens Riverside Harmony Day 2019

Celebrating the cultural, religious, linguistic and ethnic diversity of Western Australia

Harmony Week is an opportunity for all Western Australians to celebrate our vibrant multicultural State and on Wednesday 20th March, the Queens Riverside community came together to enjoy a gorgeous Autumn evening with some sensational multicultural performances and international food truck offerings.

Amongst the highlights of the colourful evening were two Queens Riverside residents who received the 'good luck' mandarins from the Lion Dancers. We also witnessed Maori performers passionately deliver their ceremonial Haka and an amazing performance from the Wadumbah Noongar Dancers showcasing emu dances, warrior dances and dreaming stories from the beautiful South West of Western Australia.

Huge thanks to all involved! The event provided a great opportunity for Queens Riverside residents and the wider community to come together and celebrate our cultural diversity.
