Meet Jarol and Karen

Jarol Espinosa Ruiz and Karen Gonzalez Looking to buy their first home at Midtown

26 July 2021

Looking to buy their first home, it was a recommendation from a friend that led Jarol Espinosa Ruiz and Karen Gonzalez to Frasers Property Australia’s Midtown MacPark, Sydney’s next great urban neighbourhood.

Their good friend Wilson is a loyal customer of Frasers Property and knows first-hand the quality of homes and communities the company creates. He bought a property at The Waterfront, Shell Cove, a masterplanned community by Frasers Property on the South Coast, as well as two other properties in Frasers Property communities in Melbourne.

“I told Wilson I was looking to buy an apartment. He saw signage and construction activity when he drove past Macquarie Park one day and sent me a photo,” says Jarol.

“I used to work there, so I know the area very well, and have always wanted to live there. I started researching Midtown MacPark online and decided to take a look.”

During that visit to Midtown MacPark, the couple was immediately impressed by the immersive experience and technology at the sales office.

“The experience was nothing like any other developments. When buying off-the-plan, it is very important to be able to visualise what our future home will look like,” says Jarol.

“At Midtown, we could experience a 360-degree tour of the apartments, through each room to understand the layout, lighting, the views from the property and also the surrounding streetscape.

“We were also able to choose our own finishes and colour schemes, and see what it will look like when complete. Something so crucial we hadn’t seen in other projects we went to,” he says.

Managing a joint-sealing and waterproofing company of his own, Jarol works across Sydney and is always on the road.

“It’s very convenient to have a Metro station within walking distance from our future home and there is a bus interchange outside of Macquarie Centre. Even if I am driving, the M2 motorway is very close by and the central location of Midtown makes it very convenient for me to travel to different parts of the city,” Jarol says.

Proximity to a wide range of amenities is also a big drawcard for the couple. They particularly love the swimming pool in the masterplan, as swimming is their 5-year-old daughter’s favourite activity.

“She is very active and she loves to swim. It will be so convenient that we could walk downstairs to the pool as well as the open space and parks once we move in,” he says.

At Midtown MacPark, Frasers Property is working with the NSW Government to deliver a $2.2 billion masterplanned community which will integrate approximately 3,300 apartments with a range of community facilities including a proposed school and childcare, aged care, a new central park, pocket parks and playgrounds, a community centre, pool and gym, and all the amenities for modern living within walking distance, underpinned by world-class design.

The Midtown MacPark sales office is now open and people can book an appointment by calling Frasers Property on 13 38 38 or by visiting www.midtownmacpark.com.au. The sales centre is located at 1 Ivanhoe Place (off Herring Rd), Macquarie Park.
