Village Green Officially Opens at Midtown MacPark

The heart of Midtown MacPark has officially come to life, with the Village Green and community precinct now open to residents and visitors.

Celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday 14 May 2026 alongside local students from the Midtown MacPark Montessori Academy, the opening marks a major milestone for the growing community.

The new 3,300sqm Village Green features landscaped open spaces, a playground, community centre and multi-purpose rooms, walking and cycling paths, bush tucker garden, plus a 25m pay-as-you-go pool and gym beneath the community hub.

Designed as Midtown’s central gathering place, the Village Green brings new opportunities for residents to connect, relax and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Frasers Property Development Director Scott Clohessy said the opening helps bring Midtown’s vision to life.

“The Village Green is set to become a vibrant meeting place for the community — from fitness classes and family picnics to everyday moments outdoors,” he said.

The Village Green sits alongside the completed MAC and SOUL residences, the under-construction Treehouse apartments and the future Macquarie Park Public School, due to open in 2027.

Once complete, Midtown MacPark will deliver approximately 3,300 homes in a connected, walkable community close to Macquarie Park Metro Station, Macquarie Centre and Macquarie University.
