The delivery of Riverlight adds another element to the community's diverse masterplan.
Work has begun on the next instalment of Hamilton Reach waterfront residential development with the official sod turning taking place at Riverlight.
Attending the sod turning was Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt MP, along with representatives from Frasers Property Australia and construction contractor Watpac.
“Northshore Hamilton is the largest waterfront urban renewal project in Queensland and the construction of Riverlight is yet another step forward in this precinct’s evolution into an icon of Brisbane,” Mr Pitt said.
With site works now underway, its construction is expected to generate employment for up to 200 people.
According to Frasers Property, purchasers at Riverlight will enjoy a superior lifestyle with recreational facilities including more than 1700 square metres of landscaped gardens, a 20-metre Olympic edge lap pool and sun deck and a fully equipped gymnasium overlooking lush gardens.
Budding chefs can take advantage of the triangulated barbeque space which offers three simultaneous groups the chance to use the alfresco cooking space, with plenty of hardscaped fixed seating offering private zones to entertain surrounded by landscaped gardens.
An exclusive private dining room is also on offer for Riverlight residents and guests, providing the chance to dine in comfort, or to reserve the space for private functions which is located just moments from the pool and barbeque space.
The Riverlight stage also includes a residents-only Boathouse, offering a chance to explore the Brisbane River and Northshore Beach on kayaks exclusively available for hire by residents.
Hamilton Ward Councillor David McLachlan said a strong sense of community was emerging at Northshore Hamilton with the realisation of new residential developments.
“Frasers Property has played a major role in the transformation of this part of Hamilton into a sought-after residential enclave,” he said.
Frasers Property has achieved more than $290 million in sales at Hamilton Reach since its launch in 2011, with the Riverlight release offering a selection of one, two and three bedroom luxury apartments priced from $440,000.
