Sculpture Resident Workshop

Learn the ancient craft of string making and looping at a sculpture workshop.
Two experienced sculptors from Sculptors Queensland, Claudje Lecompte and Susan Margaret, will be offering their expertise to Hamilton Reach residents in the traditional process of weaving.
Kicking off from 4:00pm, the aim of the 3-hour event is to create a small sculpture or basket they can take home. Residents are encouraged to bring along any fabric they would like to incorporate into their project, that they are prepared to cut up and recreate into art.
