Detached, semi-detached family homes a major drawcard
- New Reserve Homes precinct will offer space for families to grow
- Versatile three, four and five-bedroom homes available to suit all family types
MELBOURNE, 16 MAY 2019
Frasers Property Australia will launch a highly-anticipated new precinct at its landmark Burwood Brickworks development next month, with family homes the central drawcard for buyers.
The Reserve Homes release will feature 78 detached and semi-detached family homes, many offering park views and all within a two minute walk of the development’s central parkland, Green Place, which forms part of 2.5 hectares of open space across the entire development.
The latest precinct at the mixed-use, master planned community in Melbourne’s east focuses on providing space for families with homes ranging in size from three to five-bedroom, featuring innovative and sophisticated design that splits living space into complementary zones across two to three levels.
A limited number of exclusive three-level townhomes, designed by DKO Architects, will offer park frontage and stunning views of the reserve from an expansive outdoor terrace from the top level.
Key features of the variety of homes on offer include space for one to two cars, two to three bathrooms, subtle interior tones so buyers can introduce their own personal flare with furnishings and floorplans that encourage open plan living from the front door to the backyard.
Other design features that speak to the quality of the homes include bespoke joinery, artisanal Ceasartone and generous windows for light-filled living spaces.
The first 22 homes in The Reserve Homes release range in price from $1,100,000 to $1,365,000 and will be available for buyers on June 8.
“These family homes are a key part of the Burwood Brickworks community and we are expecting strong demand from buyers,” Sarah Bloom, General Manager – Residential Victoria, Frasers Property Australia says.
“The quality of the design is outstanding, we have really thought about giving families spaces that respect their need for privacy but also provide them with opportunities for connection both inside and outside the home.
“Internally the homes encourage quality interaction time with family dining, relaxation and entertainment zones, separate from other zones where peace and quiet may be sought.
“These homes will suit families at all stages, whether it be parents with young children, teens or young adults. One of the most appealing aspects of the whole Burwood Brickworks development will be the easy access these families will have to the broader community, retail and entertainment amenity.”
The homes are also focussed on sustainability with features such as solar photovoltaic panels fitted to every roof, installation of water saving taps and showerheads and green master switches built in.
The sustainability features are not only better for the environment but also the hip pocket with modelling showing that the Reserve Homes are 25-28 per cent more energy efficient than a standard compliant home, saving home owners up to $496 per year.
“Burwood Brickworks will be a benchmark for how to build sustainable communities that give residents what they need to live healthy, active, connected lifestyles that respect the environment,” Ms Bloom says.
“The thought we have put into how families and the whole community will thrive well into the future is what is so attractive to buyers.”
Burwood Brickworks is located 19 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD in the highly sought-after suburb of Burwood East. Plans for the $500+ million community include approximately 700 detached and semi-detached homes and apartments, 2.5 hectares of open space and parklands, community facilities and two large public spaces connected to an urban plaza adjoining a shopping centre complete with a rooftop urban farm and restaurant.
To date the development has been extremely popular with buyers with all 16 land lots, 245 apartments and 77 townhomes already sold.
Interested buyers can visit the sales office, located at 78 Middleborough Rd, Burwood East, open from 12pm until 5pm daily, phone 13 38 38 or visit burwoodbrickworks.com.au.
