Midtown Construction Update - SOUL Residences

We are delighted to bring you May's construction update for SOUL Residences at Midtown MacPark.

SOUL Residences

Another productive month onsite with the lift core now up to level 15-16 and the tower structure up to level 11.

Inside the building, there is a variety of activity as we move up the tower. On levels B1 to UG, installation of joinery is underway. On levels 1 and 2, floor preparation and tiling works are in progress. On levels 3 to 5, internal wall and ceiling sheeting is being done. On level 6, wall framing is in progress. On level 7, high-level services are being installed and on level 8, the formwork of the concrete slab is being stripped.

We currently anticipate completion of Soul Residences to occur in the first quarter of 2024. This forecast is subject to construction progress, weather delays and receipt of title registration and the occupation certificate.

Midtown Site

We recently saw a major milestone with the concrete pour of the Shrimpton’s Creek bridge. The bridge provides a connection between Midtown and Lyon Park Road. Elsewhere, the main water and electrical connections were completed along with further landscaping and paving works to the main road.

Midtown Community

Join the Community Development Manager for some great workshops in the Community Garden during May. On Tuesday 16th between 1pm – 3pm the Royal Botanic Gardens will be running a working bee in the garden and updating the produce ready for the colder weather.

Then join us later in the month on Saturday 27 May for a Composting and Worm Farming workshop with “The Veggie Lady” – Toni Salter.
