At Round Mountain, nature is not simply the backdrop to the community. It is the foundation of the vision.

Set within the foothills of its namesake landmark in New Beith, Round Mountain has been planned to work with the natural character of the land. The community has been designed around open space, walkable neighbourhoods, connected trails, preserved bushland corridors and everyday access to nature, creating a place where future residents can feel grounded, active and connected to the landscape around them.

As part of this commitment, more than 1,500 hectares of environmental offsets has been secured and will be managed to protect and enhance important habitat values beyond the project site. These offset areas form a significant part of Round Mountain’s broader environmental legacy and reflect our commitment to balancing the delivery of much-needed new homes with responsible environmental stewardship.

Round Mountain has received approval under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, commonly known as the EPBC Act. This approval sets out a range of environmental management, monitoring and reporting obligations that will guide how key environmental matters are protected and managed over the life of the project.

The documents below have been prepared to support compliance with the EPBC approval and to provide transparency around the ongoing environmental management of Round Mountain. These include approved Offset Management Plans and other compliance documents required under the conditions of approval.
