Berwick Waters Construction Update September 2022
We’re excited to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of this exciting community.
Stage 4 Sewer construction works commenced in August and are now fully complete. Drainage will start in this month with the base levels of the road construction to follow. We are anticipating settlement of Stage 4 in April – June 2023.
In the past month, we completed the kerb and channel (gutters), electrical and communication works for Stage 5. The rock layer of the road and footpaths are now well progressed and we plan to complete these scopes of work in the month ahead. Settlement is anticipated for November – December 2022.
Stage 6 bulk earthworks are complete. We anticipate commencement of Monthly Construction Update emails for Stage 6 to begin in October.
We’ve now completed the sewer works for Stage 7. The drainage work commenced in early September and we plan to complete it in the month ahead. Unfortunately, the persistent wet weather created poor site conditions and has resulted in a delay of the program. Stage 7 is anticipated to settle in April – June 2023.
And lastly, Stage 8 bulk earthworks are currently underway. We anticipate commencement of Monthly Construction Update emails for Stage 8 to begin in November!
