: Construction of the Mambourin Town Centre and Townhome precinct is progressing well, with Stages 36A-D, 39 and 40 currently underway.
: Construction is underway on the next retail phase of Mambourin Town Centre, delivered by Griffith Group and set to include childcare, fast-food retailers, a gym and a swim school.

This Loneliness Awareness Week, the theme is Make Room for Connection. At Mambourin, we know community isn't built through grand gestures. It's the small stuff: a chat over the fence, a coffee with a neighbour, an open seat at the table. These little moments are what help people feel like they belong, at home, at work, at school and right here in the community we're building together. This week, take a moment to make room for someone. It might be the start of a great new friendship.

Big milestones continue to bring Mambourin Green to life. Our first residents have settled on their lots, and with Stage 3 expected to settle next month, over 100 homes will soon be under construction. It's an exciting time for the community. Did you know a free library van pulls up at Mambourin Marketplace every Tuesday afternoon? Wyndham City Libraries' Pop-Up Library Van visits every Tuesday from 2:30pm to 4pm, parked outside the shopping centre next to the children's playground. Free to join, no trip to a library branch needed. Just stop by on your way through.

Connection starts with a simple conversation. This Loneliness Awareness Week, we're inviting our community to slow down, share a coffee and connect. Join us this Friday, 7 August, between 12.30pm and 2.30pm at Little Growling Café for our Coffee & a Chat table. Free coffee, and a chance to talk with friends, neighbours, or someone you've never met before, no RSVP needed. 1 in 3 Australians experience loneliness. Every friendly chat can make a difference. Michelle will be there to welcome you. Tag someone who might like to join, or just drop by yourself.

Eden Academy Childcare is bringing a new early learning experience to our community, opening on 3rd August. With caring educators selected for both their qualifications and their warmth, fresh chef-prepared meals made daily, and thoughtfully designed spaces that feel like home, the centre is designed to foster curiosity, confidence and independence in every child. We have a celebrity in our midst. A huge congratulations to one of our local retailers, Mambourin Fruit & Veg Market, who was recently named a Victorian Finalist in the 2026 A Better Choice! Retailer of the Year People's Choice Award! Great produce like theirs keeps our community healthy, and we're lucky to have them here in the area. Congratulations! 🎉

What started as a simple hello between neighbours has grown into something truly special. From sharing sweets at Diwali to exchanging thoughtful gifts at Christmas, these neighbours didn’t just swap presents - they shared traditions, stories and a glimpse into each other’s worlds. It’s a beautiful reminder of the kind of community that lives here at Mambourin and Mambourin Green.

This years NAIDOC Week theme is 50 Years of Deadly. For five decades, NAIDOC Week has celebrated culture, honoured resistance, and amplified the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It’s a moment to reflect on the strength of Elders past and present, the stories that have shaped this nation, and the generations continuing to lead change today. Here at Mambourin, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and build our community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and celebrate the enduring connection to Country, culture and community.

Living in Mambourin means a lot of things to our community, including fewer trips to the post office. “We made a really great connection with our neighbours. We always look out for each other in our community events or plan catch ups.
