As The Waterfront continues to take shape we have planned a variety of events and activities for all ages throughout the year. Visit this page for regular updates with the fun activities at The Waterfront, from live music to face painting, a pop-up library, community garden and more! There is something here for everyone in the community.
Would you be interested in joining a walking group? We are working with Healthy Cities Illawarra to establish a walking group at The Waterfront. If you would like to meet some new people, get a little fitter, and take in the gorgeous views of the Shell Cove Harbour then please let us know! This activity is free, and all ages are welcome!

Join us for some fun on the water these July school holidays. We’ve partnered with Southbound Adventures who will be bringing their big canoes down to The Waterfront for a paddle around the Marina, followed by some games and refreshments. Registration/parent permission is required prior to the event so jump online and grab your spot!

Events throughout June
Our pop-up community space continues this month, and we will certainly be enjoying the built-in heaters as the winter chills set in!
This month’s offering include:
Breathe and Stretch Yoga; Plant Propagation Workshop, Kids Boot Camp, and an Online Brand Development session for budding entrepreneurs. We will also be making use of the space for our NAIDOC week activities (see below of further info).

Just a reminder that our Community Development Manager, Tina is now located at The Waterfront Sales Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-5pm. This offers an informal opportunity for residents to discuss any ideas you have for community programs and activities you'd like to see happening in Shell Cove. We’re delighted to be working with Gumaraa Aboriginal Experiences again to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2022. We are offering two weaving workshops during the first week of school holidays. Come and join the team from Gumaraa as they expertly guide you through the process and explain the significance of weaving to our First Nations People.
