Bringing community together 🐝💛 Recently at The Quarry, residents came together for Neighbour Day to experience the magic of our very own beehives, getting up close and personal with the incredible world inside the hive. Guided by our passionate beekeeper Jack from Bee One Third - Neighbourhood Honey, we discovered just how these tiny creatures work tirelessly to produce the honey we’re lucky enough to share each year (an amazing 400kg!). The day didn’t stop there… Residents then got creative, crafting their own unique beeswax wraps using beautiful watercolour fabric designed by Holly from Paper Hands. A perfect blend of sustainability, creativity, and connection. The Quarry such a special place to call home.

A great morning was had by all as kids joined in for a fun-filled day of creativity, imagination and hands-on design at The Quarry. From building their own Paper Bag City to tackling the Marshmallow Construction Challenge, our young designers embraced every activity with enthusiasm. The Dream Treehouse drawings and Bedroom Redesigns showcased some incredible ideas, while the LEGO station kept the creativity flowing. With face painting, live music, lawn games and plenty of treats to enjoy, it was a vibrant and inspiring morning for families and future architects alike. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a memorable event.
