We are thrilled to welcome Good News Lutheran College to our Mambourin community!
Good News Lutheran College opening in 2025
Good News Lutheran College will open in Mambourin in 2025, however the Campus began delivering classes to Prep and Year 1 students from the Tarneit Campus in 2023. The Mambourin campus will be in its second year in 2024 and will have 7 classes ranging from Prep - Year 2.
In 2025 the Mambourin campus will initially be offering Prep-Year 6 with additional year levels added, up to Year 12 as the campus grows.
A College Masterplan is underway, which will inform the construction of a contemporary learning environment at the 6.8ha site in Mambourin, which will feature purpose-built classrooms, play areas, sports fields and specialist facilities.
The campus will be located on the corner of Plane Avenue and Barrabool Boulevard, opposite Barrabool Park and within our growing Town Centre, close to future shops, community centre, library and performing arts centre.
The campus will enable students from the Mambourin community, and Melbourne’s west, to experience a Good News Lutheran College education, grounded in faith, purpose and values of grace, integrity, courage, and respect.

Phased enrolments for the Mambourin campus
The Mambourin campus will introduce year level classes on a phased basis. This strategy is based on projected demand for student places in the region, as well as management of waiting lists.
Mambourin Enrolments
Good News Lutheran College Mambourin commenced in 2023 with a limited number of Prep and Year 1 classes.
In 2024, students enrolled at Good News Lutheran College Mambourin will undertake their classes at the Tarneit campus while the Mambourin facilities are being constructed.
Classes on site at the Mambourin Campus will commence in 2025, for students from Prep – Year 6.
