Macquarie Park Primary School: May 2026 Update

The new primary school for Midtown Macquarie Park is progressing to it’s final stages of construction, bringing our community closer to a modern local school designed for up to 750 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Enrolment applications are open and are currently being processed. The school will communicate directly with those who have expressed interest, including out-of-area enrolments. If you have not received any communication, please contact the school at macquariepark-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au.

Construction Highlights
- The scaffolding has been removed, revealing the façade.
- Landscaping works in the school garden and public domain have started.
- The administration, staff and classrooms are taking shape with furniture being delivered into these spaces.
- The school hall flooring is now complete with the final works on the interior underway.
What’s Coming Up
In the next few weeks, the school will undergo:
- Finishing flooring works throughout the learning and shared spaces.
- Installing new furniture, fixtures and equipment to prepare rooms for use.
- Testing and commissioning all building systems to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently.
